Uganda for Gorillas and Chimps

If seeing mountain gorillas is on your bucket list, this is the trip for you. Many itineraries have guests flying from Entebbe, spending two days trekking with the gorillas, and then flying back home. We think it would be a shame to go all that way and not see the other sites of Uganda. Our hosts on this trip are experienced Ugandan guides. Born and raised in the country. They will show us the best of their country. Gorilla permits are expensive at $800 per person per day. We'll keep the cost down by staying at nice mid-range lodges and driving to our destinations.

Boat ride on the Nile River below Murchison Falls. 

Game drives to see Rothschild giraffe and other wildlife in Murchison Falls National Park.

Scenic drives with views of hills, crater lakes and lush green tea estates. Stop at the equator. 

Kibale Forest National Park to track chimpanzees in the forest! Other primates we may see include Red Colobus, Black and white Colobus, Grey-cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, Red-tailed Monkey, and L’Hoest’s Monkeys.
