Gorilla and Chimpanzee Trekking

​​If seeing mountain gorillas is on your bucket list, this is the trip for you. Many itineraries have guests flying from Entebbe, spending two days trekking with the gorillas, and then flying back home. We think it would be a shame to go all that way and not see the other sites of Uganda. Our hosts on this trip are experienced Ugandan guides. Born and raised in the country. They will show you the best of their country.  Boone is not going to lead the group but you will be in good hands the entire time you are in Uganda.

Chimpanzee trekking in Kabale - the national forest where Chimp Empire was filmed. Other primates we may see include Red Colobus, Black and white Colobus, Grey-cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, Red-tailed Monkey, and L’Hoest’s Monkeys.

Boat ride on the Kazinga Channel to see hippos, crocs, and birds.

Scenic drives with views of hills, crater lakes and lush green tea estates. Stop at the equator.
