Victoria Falls and Okavango Delta 2024

Dates:  May 15-23 

Itinerary:

Day 1 - Arrive in Victoria Falls and be transported to the Ilala Lodge. Ilala is a family owned boutique property within walking distance of the falls.

Day 2 - Walk to the falls and do a self-guided tour or hire a tour guide. The Ilala adventure desk can schedule a helicopter tour over the falls. Or a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Or perhaps you want to do a whitewater rafting trip. I will most likely schedule a presentation by Dr. Greg Rasmussen. He is the world’s foremost expert on African painted dogs.

Day 3 - We will head back to Victoria Falls airport for our charter flight to the Okavango Delta. Our first destination in the Delta is Duke's Camp. This is a new luxury camp accommodations for only 16 guests.  

Day 4 and 5 - Morning and afternoon game drives. Sundowners and plenty of optional activities. 

Day 6 - After a morning game drive we will have breakfast then gather our bags and take a light aircraft to our next destination, Chitabe Camp. 

Day 7 and 8 - Morning and afternoon game drives, sundowners, and other optional actiivities. 

Day 9 - After a morning game drive, we will eat breakfast and fly to Maun for our flights home.
